The laws of having a ceremony in an unlicensed location can complicate things a little. Since the Victorian times, the UK law restricts where people can get a legal marriage and states that the registration needs to take place under a licensed building or structure. As our attitudes to marriage are changing and traditional values are evolving, the government has been in the process of reviewing these tired rules and regs and it’s looking likely that this review will now be accelerated due to the current climate.

Ok, we do get that the weather can sometimes complicate matters, but don’t let that stop you from going ahead with your plans to take your vows outside. We are flexible and ceremony spaces can be last minute decisions. We have a number of smaller marquees that can be used as a canopy or ceremonial space. Our vintage 7m traditional canvas and timber pole structure works perfectly and aesthetically, looks jaw-dropping placed next to one of our bigger structures.
