7 Exciting Outdoor Wedding Food Ideas

It’s an exciting time, planning your open-air celebration and the possibilities of having an outdoor wedding really are endless! 1.   Street Food

We are huge fans of this stuff and couldn’t think of anything more heavenly than a cheese reception! Your family and friends will love to graze on a variety cheeses, olives, chillies, chutneys, pickles, breads, crackers and jams.

A cheese bar is an excellent addition to a rustic themed wedding and looks fabulous styled with natural foliage, wood and flowers. Complete the table with a beautifully dressed cheese wedding cake and your wedding will no doubtedly be a memorable one on your choice of food alone!

 

5.   Woodfired Pizza

Because who doesn’t love a pizza?! Particularly after a drink or 3! Pizza Peddlers are your pizza people. Rocking up in their vintage Citroen H van, they make everything from scratch. Under the bright light of their atmospheric signage, your guests will enjoy watching the craft of stonebaked pizza making, then take great delight in chowing down on it’s doughy deliciousness!

 6. Hog Roast

There’s nothing more heart warming than a gathering around a campfire once the sun goes down and an outdoor hog roast is a great way to get your guests outside before the the fireworks begin!

 7. Ice Cream

Ice cream, sorbets and frozen yogurts – on a hot summers afternoon, surely you’d want nothing more? Truly Scrumptious does just this. A handmade, powder blue cart with a very vintage feel, draped in bunting and fairy lights, she adds a touch of magical nostalgia to any special event.
